Amazing Grace Family Coaching

Rebuilding after abuse — for you, and for the kids who saw it too.

I help mothers and their children rebuild confidence, connection, and a sense of safety together in the first year after leaving an abusive relationship.

I've lived both sides of this.

I survived physical abuse from my children's father — and I watched what it did to my kids, too. In 2018, I co-authored Surviving in Silence: Overcoming Domestic Violence with nine other women who had each lived their own version of it, because silence was the thing that kept all of us stuck the longest.

Now I coach mothers rebuilding their confidence, independence, and sense of safety in the first year after leaving — and I bring their kids into that healing, too, because they're rebuilding right alongside you, not somewhere off to the side of it.

"You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to take the next right step — and you don't have to take it alone."
My book: Surviving in Silence — Overcoming Domestic Violence (2018), co-written with nine survivors. A companion workbook, The First 90 Days, is available for clients and readers rebuilding right now.

Is this for you?

This work is for mothers who left a physically abusive partner in roughly the last two years and want a guide who has actually been there — not just studied it.

A few honest questions

Is this therapy?

No. I'm not a licensed therapist, and coaching isn't a substitute for therapy, medical care, or legal advice. Coaching is forward-looking — goals, confidence, practical next steps. If it becomes clear you or your child would benefit from licensed clinical support, I'll say so directly and provide a referral.

Will my child be coached on their own?

No — I don't coach children as independent clients. Mother & Child sessions are part of your own coaching engagement: you book it, you consent to it, and your child participates alongside you. Any deeper clinical need is referred to a licensed child or play therapist.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes, with the limits required by law: suspected abuse or neglect of a child, a credible threat of serious harm, or a valid court order. Outside of that, what you share stays private.

What's your background?

I'm a survivor with lived experience, and I co-authored Surviving in Silence in 2018. I'm not certified yet — before I open, I'm planning to complete Texas Domestic Violence Advocate training and a trauma-informed care certification, so I can do this the right way from day one.

When are you opening?

Before I open, I'm planning to complete Texas Domestic Violence Advocate training and a trauma-informed care certification, on top of setting up my practice the right way — I'd rather do this well than do it fast. Join the waitlist and I'll reach out personally as soon as I open.
